While Lizzie is preparing to be a bridesmaid yet again, her feelings about wanting to settle down and get married come into focus. Alex and Diane try to make her realize that she shouldn’t feel any pressure to find a husband, but it takes throwing her a “wedding” party in order for Lizzie to see that she has plenty of time to find a husband — and that right now her friends are all she needs.

Lizzie’s never been happy with the way she looks. Having tried everything from a new hair color to rock climbing, she’s now landed on yoga as the answer. She thinks it’s gonna give her the body she’s always wanted. Instead, she just gets tied up in knots. With Alex’s help Lizzie comes to understand that what has to change isn’t her actual body, but only the image she has of it in her head.

When Alex’s mom, Nadine, comes for a visit, Alex expresses anxiety about her mother’s tendacy to treat her like she’s still fifteen. So she prepares for a weekend of smothering, but when Nadine arrives, Alex realizes that her mom is independant and busy. This new version of her mother throws Alex for a loop and their roles reverse, and with some help from her friends Alex realizes that everyone should be allowed to change. Even if it’s your mother.

Diane’s terrible at first dates. Especially blind ones. So when she’s set up with her boss’ nephew, Alex and Lizzie come to her rescue to make sure that she brings the best version of herself (preferably the one without a big piece of spinach in her teeth) to the candlelit table for two. Diane gets a fresh perspective on dating — and learns that once you take the pressure off, dating can just be about having fun!

Im not sure if you know who B. Scott is, but I love him! He has a beautiful spirit, and he’s pretty popular on Youtube. He’s an advice giver, and a bit of a comedian as well. B. Scott makes my day everyday. — Double Kisses.

So I was searching Youtube tonight in search of a song by Lauryn Hill. I wasnt looking for anything in particular when I came across Maria Bentley, 23 who resides in UK. There is something about her voice that Im intrigued by. She’s like a mixture of Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott & Chrissette Michele. Im looking forward to her dropping more vids, and not only that but I dig those glasses thats she’s wearing.
